For new and current teachers on Outschool, seasonal classes are a great way to increase your enrollments and income. I created my first seasonal class in December of 2020, and it was a major success. Such a success, that Outschool reached out to me for two-class buyouts for one of their clients. After that seasonal class, I have created and had several more sold-out sections of seasonal classes that I offer on Outschool. Here are four tips that I use to create a seasonal class on Outschool.
- Pick and pinpoint what season or holiday you would like to focus on.
- NICHE ALL THE WAY DOWN.
- Write in the descriptions your main keywords.
- Schedule your classes in advance.
Pick and pinpoint what season or holiday you would like to focus on.
I like to pick seasons and holidays that I enjoy creating seasonal classes. This allows a little excitement from me that the students pick up when I teach the class.
Niche ALL THE WAY DOWN.
Have you heard the saying, “Riches are in the Niches”? Well, I like to think of that when creating a class. I focus on one niche and teach that. It allows for the students to focus.
Write in the descriptions your main keywords
Outschool has its own algorithm and you want to ensure that your classes are showing up when parents and students search for classes. If you have don’t have your keywords in the descriptions, how will parents and students know that you have a class available that they may be looking for?
Schedule your seasonal classes in advance.
When you schedule your classes in advance, parents can see them in the search options, many parents plan ahead of time classes.
